Sangeh Monkey Forest 

The Sangeh Monkey Forest is a unique place in Bali. It’s a pleasant, serene atmosphere with plenty of trees and greenery. But it’s also home to monkeys! There are hundreds of monkeys to play with at the Sangeh Monkey Forest, a protected jungle area in central Bali. Despite being less renowned than Ubud’s monkey forest, this place has some terrific aspects that make it well worth visiting while in Bali. 

Wanagiri Hidden Hill - Located in Munduk, an out-of-the-way village about two hours north of Ubud, Wanagiri Hidden Hill is punctuated by a series of whimsical vantage points over Lake Tambingan and Lake Buyan. There’s a human-sized bird’s nest, an Indonesian interpretation of the Eiffel Tower and a giant swing overlooking the water below. Savvy locals reportedly built the lookouts in a bid to attract snap-happy travellers to the region, and it’s safe to say it’s working – thousands of Instagrammers have checked in at and hashtagged Wanagiri Hidden Hills since it opened in mid-2017.

The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favorite cool upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from the southern and urban areas, as it is strategically located, connecting the island’s north and south. Ulun Danu Beratan, literally ‘the source temple of Lake Beratan’, is easily the island’s most iconic sanctuary sharing the scenic qualities with the seaside temples of Uluwatu and Tanah Lot. The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding most of the temple’s base creates a unique floating impression, while the mountain range of the Bedugul region encircling the lake provides the temple with a scenic backdrop.

Leke Leke Waterfall is a must-see in Indonesia, so you can’t miss it on your Bali Itinerary. It is a fantastic scenery as a narrow stream of water cascades down into a small, shallow pool surrounded by lush jungle vegetation. The waterfall is about 30 meters high.
